We’ve already passed the middle of the year with an exciting programme of CPD workshops and events already complete. We still have 7 remaining CPD workshops for July and 11 for August, covering something for everyone. There are only a few tickets left for some, so don’t miss out on a great opportunity to increase your knowledge and improve your practice by attending our workshops on offer.

Next up is our Planning for Administrators workshop this Friday 19th of July. This half day online workshop is for those who work in a support role to planners in public or private practice and would like to gain a better understanding of planning and the planning system in Aotearoa. There’s still time to register but be in quick. Registration will be accepted up till midday tomorrow.

The remaining workshops in July cover everything from the most up to date case law review to expert advice on preparing reports for hearings. In July we have a particular focus on digital learning with our Data Literacy for Planners workshop this Tuesday and our new Ethics and Digital Technologies workshop offered the following week. The Ethics and Digital Technologies workshop is designed to get participants thinking about new digital technologies, and the new and unique pressures that they will have on our professional practice.

It doesn’t all stop there with plenty more on offer in August. We rescheduled our international event with the American Planning Association reporting back on future trends for planning around the globe. This special event, APA Trend Report – Future Insights for Planners, has a new date on August 27th.
