To inform submissions on major reforms and planning system change proposals, NZPI consults with its membership through surveys, branch meetings, and special road trip engagements. During the last few years there have been many Government interventions which have necessitated NZPI submissions. Significant examples include the NZPI road trip consultation with branches to prepare submissions informing the RMA Review Panel Issues and Options paper; branch meetings with MfE officials throughout the country on National Planning Standards. Some of the reports from this work will be available here soon.
