A key NZPI function is responding to Government interventions and proposals through written submissions, oral submissions, and direct engagement where possible.
NZPI has taken the many opportunities provided to prepare submissions on RM Reform proposals, national policy statements, RM amendment bills, new legislation, and other proposals relevant to the planning profession. These submissions apply an implementation lens to the proposals and are informed by member feedback. NZPI is also engaging directly with MfE on RM Reform.
