How do I log in to the virtual event?

Registered attendees can access the virtual event link here.

This link and login instructions will be emailed to all registered attendees a few days prior to the event. If you registered and do not receive an email; please check your ‘Spam/Junk’ folder and if not there or if you require assistance, contact events@planning.org.nz

Please note - you must login with your user account – the one used when registering for the virtual event.

How do I view the speakers on the virtual hub?

Click on 'Main Room', all keynote speakers will be live streamed in the virtual main room.

For our June 2nd event, there will only be 1 room as there are no workshops for this event.

If there are workshops, you click on either 'Workshop 1'or 'Workshop 2' depending on which you wish to attend.

How do I get back to the main room from the workshop room?

Exit out of Full Screen on your computer and then click on the 'EXIT' button, this will take you back to the main 'lobby' where you can click on 'Main room' again.

It is past the start time and I can't see the speaker, why?

As we have an MC, the sessions will be running on time or very close to time. So, if you can't see the speaker, please refresh your browser.

How do I ask the speaker questions and see questions from other attendees?

Use the QR code provided during the event to download the Slido app. You can then use the app to ask the speaker questions and see questions other people have asked. These questions will be removed as they are asked by the MC to prevent confusion. So, if there are any questions you would like to keep a record of, please screen shot these on your phone, or you can re-watch the videos post event and hear the questions again.

How do I get into the workshops?

Click on 'Workshop 1 or Workshop 2', depending on which you wish to attend.

Why can't I see the live speaker feed after the lunch break?

Please refresh your browser and it will load.

Do I have to log back in after each session?

No, you just need to refresh your browser. Unless you have left the website all together, then you will need to log back in.

What is the direct email for technical assistance on the day?

Please click on the 'TECH ASSIST' button in the bottom right corner of the main lobby in the virtual hub.

How do I know when the break is going to end?

There will be start times indicated on the screen and also in the programme in the lobby.

I missed the first 10 minutes of a speaker, what can I do?

All of the sessions will be available as recordings after the event. We will notify you when they are ready, and you will just need to log back into the virtual hub to see the recordings. Also, because it's live streamed from YouTube, you can rewind to the start but bear in mind this will mean you may miss the last few minutes of the live Q&As.

Can I have the speakers PowerPoint files?

We ask speakers for their slides, and for the ones that we have permission to upload, we will upload them to the virtual hub along with the recordings and any unanswered speaker questions.
