Cancellations

IN-PERSON CPD WORKSHOPS/EVENTS
  • If you have registered for an event or workshop hosted by NZPI, but need to withdraw, you must advise NZPI via email at events@planning.org.nz.
  • You will not be eligible for a refund if NZPI is first advised of your intention to withdraw from an event or workshop, less than five (5) full business days before a workshop is scheduled to take place.
  • NZPI may cancel an event or workshop due to low registration numbers up to two (2) weeks before it is scheduled to take place.
  • If NZPI cancels an event or workshop, NZPI will refund the cost of your registration fee. NZPI accept no liability for travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred because of a cancelled or postponed event or workshop.


ONLINE CPD WORKSHOPS/EVENTS
  • If you have registered for an event or workshop hosted NZPI, but need to withdraw, you must advise NZPI via email at events@planning.org.nz.
  • You will not be eligible for a refund if NZPI is first advised of your intention to withdraw from an event or workshop less than five (5) full business days before it is scheduled to take place.
  • NZPI may cancel an event or workshop due to low registration numbers up to 3 days before it is scheduled to take place.
  • If NZPI cancels an event or workshop, NZPI will refund the cost of your registration fee. NZPI accept no liability for any expenses incurred because of a cancelled or postponed event or workshop.



FREE CPD WORKSHOPS/EVENTS
  • If you have registered for an event or workshop hosted by NZPI, but need to withdraw, you must advise NZPI as soon as possible via email at events@planning.org.nz so we can free up the ticket for someone else.
  • NZPI may cancel an event or workshop due to low registration numbers up to two (2) weeks before it is scheduled to take place (or 3 days if an online event).
  • NZPI accept no liability for travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred because of a cancelled or postponed event or workshop.


    Transferring Registrations

    PAID CPD WORKSHOPS/EVENTS
    • Registrations can be transferred to a colleague if you are no longer able to attend the workshop you enrolled for. The registration can be transferred from an NZPI member to another NZPI member, or from a non-member to non-member. Registrations cannot be transferred from a member to a non-member or vice versa. Where this is the case, please advise NZPI and we will rebook the attendee ourselves.
    • If the event or workshop is being held in-person, the transfer must be complete no less than 3 days before it is scheduled to take place.
    • If you are unable to attend a workshop and would like to transfer to the same workshop but at a later date, you will need to advise NZPI at least five (5) full business days before the workshop is scheduled to take place.
    • An Admin fee will be incurred if you wish to transfer after the deadline.

    FREE CPD WORKSHOPS/EVENTS
    • Registrations can be transferred to a colleague if you are no longer able to attend the event or workshop you enrolled for. Registrations can be transferred from a member to a non-member or vice versa.
    • If it is an in-person event, the transfer must be complete no less than 3 days before it is scheduled to take place.
