NZPI has provided feedback on the coalition government’s proposal to introduce a fast-track consenting bill. This is initial feedback based on a high-level outline of the fast-track bill provided in a letter from the Minister. An opportunity for more detailed feedback will be available once the bill is introduced to Parliament and referred to the Select Committee, expected in late March 2024.
