NZPI is preparing a position paper on the identity and role of the planner in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We want to identify what contributes to the unique approach and way of thinking of planners in New Zealand, that allows us to perform the variety of tasks that make up the discipline of planning. This will enable NZPI to nurture, cultivate, promote, and celebrate these fundamental aspects and secure the place of the profession into the future.
To understand the role of the planner we are making a direct approach to our members to complete our next important survey; The Role of the Planner. This survey will allow us to get a sense of how we see ourselves, which is an important place to start. We greatly appreciate your time in completing this survey, and the contribution it will make to the future of planning in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The Role of the Planner Survey closes Monday 11th September.
NZPI Members, please check your inbox for the survey link.
We are mindful that we’ve been asking you a lot of question and last week we put out the Big Question Survey, asking you what the big issues are that planners are facing right now in Aotearoa. We’ve had a good response and thank those members for taking the time to tell us what’s on their mind.
If you're a NZPI member and didn’t receive the survey link sent Friday 1st September & Thursday 7th September.
