NZPI has been working with EQC for some time now looking at how, together, we can build capacity in planning for natural hazards and climate resilience. EQC want to promote this area of training and development to our newest thought leaders in the profession. They would like to generously offer five lucky accredited planning students or planners in their first three years of work the following opportunity:

  • A fully paid registration to NZPIC23
  • A fully paid registration to the Emerging Planners Congress on Wednesday 19th April 2023, 10:00am-5:00pm, at Te Pae Convention Centre in Ōtautahi / Christchurch
  • $1,000 per 5 x winners to use for flights, accommodation or expenses at NZPIC23

The timeframe to enter and win this exciting opportunity is short and sharp.

Applications are NOW OPEN and close Friday 24th March, 5pm. Five applicants will be securely drawn and will be announced Monday 27th March.

If you’re a planning student or a planner in their first three years of working in the planning profession, APPLY now. If you meet these criteria and have already registered for NZPI Conference and/ or the 2023 Emerging Planner’s Congress you can still go into the draw to have your registrations refunded and $1,000 to go toward your attendance at NZPIC23. This competition has been designed to support delegates who are attending in-person and funds can be used for flights and accommodation at conference.

Take the chance. Apply HERE to win and REGISTER for NZPI Conference 23 and the Emerging Congress at the same time.

NZPI gratefully acknowledge the generosity of EQC in providing this opportunity to the newest members of the planning profession in Aotearoa. The winners will be invited to attend a breakfast and meet with members of EQC, at 7am on Wednesday 19th April, just prior to the EP Congress.
