A workshop designed to introduce members to key concepts in relation to professional ethics as planners, familiarise members with the NZPI Code of Ethics and is a compulsory CPD requirement for those members looking to seek full membership in the future.

This workshop is running over 2 consecutive mornings. Registering for this workshop will automatically confirm your place on the 2nd day.

  • Day 2 - Tuesday 28 February - 9.00am - 11.00am


Learning outcomes:

Identify ethical issues and ways of resolving them, identify appropriate sources for information and support in resolving ethical issues, and to practice applying the NZPI Code of Ethics to everyday issues.


Presenter:

Christine Coste

Christine has more than 23 years’ experience as a planner. She holds a Bachelor of Planning from the University of Auckland and is a Full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute.

Christine is a certified RMA hearings commissioner and has a Certificate in Public Participation from the International Association for Public Participation – Australasian Chapter.

Christine chairs the NZPI’s Special Interest Group PlanTechNZ, which allows planners to explore new technologies.

Christine founded RMA Digital to provide services to RMA practitioners to better meet the challenges of the digital age. Embracing digital technologies is essential to our ability to practice in the modern world.
