Policy Advisor, Porirua City Council
Stewart is a professionally accredited planner, policy advisor and thought leader with 25-years’ experience in a wide range of planning and related fields in NZ and the UK. His skills and expertise extend across RMA, transport, infrastructure, energy and three waters planning and policy development, along with environmental assessment, property development, urban planning and regeneration, people leadership and programme management and delivery. He has recently been called on to advise a range of industry groups, government agencies and professional organisations on planning and implementation matters.
Over the past four years he has led the planning team at Porirua City Council in the successful development of a new district plan, and has recently formed McKenzie Planning Partnerships. He is currently advising Porirua and Wellington City Councils on their District Plan processes.
