Rachael has been involved in placemaking in Ōtautahi for a number of years, both at a grassroots level, as Director of Gap Filler and Life in Vacant Spaces, and now from a public sector perspective with ChristchurchNZ. She has a wealth of knowledge about negotiating the temporary use of public space, curating effective places and engaging with communities. Rachael is fascinated with what makes places work and how we can ensure these are accessible, enjoyable and diverse. Rachael holds a Master of Arts as well as post-graduate qualifications in Museum & Heritage Studies and Planning..
