Sam is a Coastal Scientist with an interest in how coastal processes shape our beaches and estuaries. Over the past 15+ yrs Sam has held roles as an academic, coastal asset manager, regulator, internal council advisor, and as a consultant. Accordingly he has developed a robust practical skill set and approach to coastal management. This skill set has been applied in jobs as small beach stairs to Environment Court proceedings as well as the development of beach plans at Orewa Beach and Whitianga.
