The Ministry for the Environment, hosted by Hon Phil Twyford, Associate Minister for the Environment is holding a webinar on the recently released National Medium Density Design Guide – Ngā tohutohu hoahoa ā-motu mō te wharenoho mātoru-waenga.
Join us for a presentation of the Medium Density Design Guide by Clint Betteridge, Senior Analyst, Ministry for the Environment followed by a panel discussion with Jade Kake (Ngā Aho) and Lisa Mein (Urban Design Forum).
The purpose of the guide is to encourage well-functioning and high-quality housing permitted under the Medium Density Residential Standards (MDRS). The guide is intended for anyone interested in the design and development of medium density housing in Aotearoa New Zealand, particularly small-scale property owners or those with limited experience in more complex residential developments.
This webinar is opportunity to hear from those who were involved in the development of the guide, its purpose and content.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.
