After three-years, Greater Wellington Regional Council's community-focused whaitua process for Wellington City and the Hutt Valley has finished. Join us to learn about the collaborative process, environmental issues, and the groundbreaking indigenous planning document Te Mahere Wai!

The whaitua process is Greater Wellington Regional Council's approach to implementing the NPS-FM. Whaitua Te Whanganui-a-Tara brought community members, elected officials, and mana whenua together to tackle the biggest freshwater management issues of our time in Wellington and the Hutt Valley.
